Nick Ciavatta and Pat Lally have been cousins for a long time now, as well as best friends and band mates. It all started at around age 11 when they played in a rock cover band that pretty much sounded like a bunch of 11 year olds. As they grew to adulthood they kept playing together and formed Offer May Vary with the amazing slide/finger picker, Jim Steacy. Then came Sea of Otters, first as an acoustic band and then a full on Electric Band featuring Nick, Pat, Chris McKenna, Jeff Warden and Jeff Braine.
And now there is a new incarnation-New Otter Review, featuring the songs of Nick Ciavatta and Pat Lally, and new members to be added soon! Check out the live performances from the Arts & Culture showcase at Boca Grande in Jersey City, NJ on 6/11:
